SMP was founded by Dr.-Ing. Vasilios Gemenetzis in the year 1982.

Since then, we have become one of the most important producers of soft magnetic products & solutions worldwide. 

With 2 production sites in Germany & Austria and our own production of soft magnetic materials, our products are implemented in all electrotechnical applications all over the globe.

Today, the founder's two sons are taking the family-run comapny into the future.
